下一版本的 Android 名称和版本编号一直有很多猜测，现在终于可以确认。下一版本为 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean。
Google 在 Play Store 销售的 Galaxy Nexus HSPA+，清楚标明为 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean。
而 Play Store 上的用字为 the first phone with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean，亦即是 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean 不会有自家旗舰机。过往一个新 Android 版本推出，也会配搭一部新旗舰机，例如 Android 4.0 就有 Galaxy Nexus。
另外，那部 Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ 采用了一张新的 Wallpaper，而 Search Bar Widget 亦采用了半透明的式样。相信这都是 Android 4.1 Jelly Bean 的新界面设计。
