Galaxy S4 推出后，其中一个为人诟病是它的内置储存空间。虽然手机声称有 16GB ROM，但大部份已被系统占用，实际用家只可用到约 8-9GB。这个问题就连英国 BBC 电视台都有节目做跟进探讨。
Samsung 刚为 Galaxy S4 国际版推出了更新，提供 “Apps to SD” 功能，可让用家将 Apps 转移至 SD Card 内，另外亦清减了一些内部储存，腾空了约80MB。
除此之外，这次更新还有新的相机 firmware, Smart Pause Toggle, 等。
