之前不断有消息指 Nexus 系列将会在今年结束，并会由名为 Android Silver 的新计划，但一路以来 Google 方面未有就此回应。
Nexus 机仍会继续
最近 Google 的 Android 工程主管 Dave Burke 接受访问时表示，这些 Nexus 系列会结束的传言是错的。

People have been commenting about Nexus because there is something else and they think that means the end of Nexus. That is the totally wrong conclusion to make.
Dave Burke 表示，当软件团队开发新版本时，硬件团队亦会研发新机配合这些新功能，两方面的开发会相互配合。Dave Burke 进一步解释，不可能只单纯开发系统软件，编写程式码，但又没有对应的硬件平台，开发编写的程式系统需要实际运作使用才可。他亦表示 Nexus 机是一个用来展示 Android 应如今运作的好方法。

至于另一流传重点 Android Silver，Dave Burke 就拒绝评论。
