Google Calendar 行事历内建立活动时，可以设定在活动前的一段时间，以 SMS 作提示通知。这个 SMS 提示功能十分好用，尤其是早年智能手机未普及时，SMS 提示确实是十分贴心。不过到了智能手机普及的年代，手机内有各式各样的提示功能可以使用，SMS 提示反而变得单调和过于简单。
Google 方面决定于 6月27日终止 Google Calendar 内的 SMS 提示通知，往后不再有 SMS 通知。
Starting on June 27th, 2015, SMS notifications from Google Calendar will no longer be sent.
各位若有使用 SMS 通知提示的要留意，可以改为选用 Google Calendar 又或其他 Calendar App 内的提示功能替代。
