根据韩国媒体报道，Samsung 正跟其他12间公司合作研发 11K 屏幕，像素密度达 2250 pixels per inch (ppi)。
现在手机最厉害都是 2K Display 1440×2560，而 ppi最好都是 500多未到600，11K Display 2250ppi 大约是 2K 的四倍，可以想像是多夸张。由于 11K Display 2250ppi 可以将颜色细致展现，Samsung 更期望可用在流动装置上，并展现 3D 效果。

消息指 Samsung 期望在 2018年韩国平昌举行的冬季奥运上展出这个 11K 技术。对于 Samsung 和其他参与公司而言，若可借着全球触目的奥运会展示新技术，是一个很好的成果。当然 11K Display 要真正用在手机上，还要好一段时间。
