Instagram 在三月时曾透露，将会为 Instagram Posts 推出一个全新的 Algorithm，会按用家的兴趣, 朋友关系等为 Posts 决定重要性作排次列序，用家在 Instagram 看 Posts 就不再是按时间列出。当时这消息一推出，可以说所有 ig 用家都十分愤怒，认为这会令到 ig 很难使用。

虽然用家表达强烈不满，但 Instagram 最新就在官方 Blog 公布，正式推出这个新方式，用家会在未来一个月陆续看到这个新体验。
The order of photos and videos in your feed will be based on the likelihood you’ll be interested in the content, your relationship with the person posting and the timeliness of the post.
You’ll see this new experience as we roll it out over the coming month.
Instagram 指随着用家数量增长，用家平均会遗掉了 70% 的 Post feeds 没有观看这些相片和影片。所以他们采用了新 Algorithm，将一些 “重要” 的 Posts 排在最前，不再按时间排次序。Instagram 表示，在过去几个月他们于特定用户进行测中，他们测试这些用户都较多 “like” 相片, 更多 Comment 和有更高的参与度。
在 Instagram Blog 内，有不少 Notes 留言都是写 “Dont do this”, “horrible feature”, “gonna stop using”, “want chronological feed back”。大家没有选择，只有接受，因为是没有选项可关闭的。
