原先公佈會在 21/9 推出的 BlackBerry BBM for Android App，現在將會暫緩推出。
BlackBerry 表示，在正式推出前有一個 “Unreleased Version” 的 BBM for Android 流出，並在網上流傳。在 8小時內就有超過 100萬用家使用，不過這個 “Unreleased Version” 亦帶來一些問題需要解決。

BlackBerry 團隊正在解決決這些問題，所以會暫緩 BBM for Android 推出。至於何時會推出，BlackBerry 只表示儘快，當準備就緒就會分階段國家地區推出，並著留意 BlackBerry 的公佈。
As soon as we are able, we will begin a staggered country roll-out of BBM for Android and continue the roll-out of BBM for iPhone.
