Google Play Music 推出了更新 v4.4.811H，有多项改进包括无缝播放 (Gapless Playback)。
过往的 Music Player 在每首歌播放后，总会有一段短时间停顿，才会跳至下一首歌。情况就像听 CD 般，由一条 Track 跳去下一条 Track 那段空白。而无缝播放就是一首歌紧接着另一首播放，中间不会有空白停顿。
不过无缝播放 只在 Android 4.1 或以上的装置提供。
除了 无缝播放，新版本亦可将 Thumbs Up, Last Added 等 Playlist 储存在装置内。
