美国消费者产品安全委员会公布了 Samsung Galaxy Note 7 在美国的回收事宜，并透露了涉及的事故数字。
美国 Samsung 收到了92宗涉及 Galaxy Note 7 电池的事故，当中包括了 26宗起火事故，55宗涉及财物损失，包括在车内以及车房内起火。
Samsung has received 92 reports of the batteries overheating in the U.S., including 26 reports of burns and 55 reports of property damage, including fires in cars and a garage.
Samsung 和 美国消费者产品安全委员会 都表示应该暂停使用在当地 9月15日前购买的 Note 7，并将之关掉，并跟 Samsung 联络作回收，约有一百万部 Note 7 已作回收。而 Samsung 亦表示新一批 Note 7 将会在 9月21日之前送抵美国。
